    We are hiring a  Business Analyst – E-commerce Services Team

    This job is for our client, a Romanian company responsible for online selling of IT equipment and components, electronics, appliances, personal care items, automotive products, books, music, movies, household and garden products, pet shop, and children's items. It is a fast-growing organization, aiming to become the largest online retailer in Europe. With more than 4700 talented people being part of the company, they serve 4 markets in Southeast Europe, having offices in Bucharest, Sofia, Budapest, and Warsaw.

    Responsibilities

    • Combine financial and analytical skills to support the decision-making process within multinational eMAG ECommerce
    Services Business Unit;
    • Provide continuous support in terms of deep analysis and business performance to the relevant business
    leaders;
    • Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process within eMAG E-Commerce Services;
    • Perform KPI monitoring and analysis, propose measures for business results improvements;
    • Analyze results in comparison with the budget/ forecast/ historical trends and associated with KPIs;
    • Prepare highly documented explanations for deviations;
    • Constantly identify gaps and opportunities in analyzed data sets for successfully contribute to business growth;
    • Use different tools and techniques to develop scalable solutions to address business needs;
    • Contribute to the improvement of current instruments to create a dynamic controlling environment;
    • Perform ad-hoc analysis.

    Perfect Candidate

    • University Degree in Economics or other relevant subjects;
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position;
    • Strong Excel and analytical skills; excel VBA would be an advantage;
    • Solid understanding of databases, statistics, and business intelligence tools;
    • Basic knowledge in QlikView programming language would be an advantage;
    • Economics background, basics of financial statements, experience in the planning process;
    • Principles knowledge related to profitability, pricing, purchasing, commercial conditions, inventory management,
    promotional campaigns;
    • Detail-oriented, capable of spotting flaws in processes and data inconsistencies, problem-solving;
    • Ability to work with high volumes of data;
    • Highly organized, task-focused and adept at juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment;
    • Fluent in English;
    • Experience in the retail industry or e-commerce sites would be an advantage. Company Benefits
