IT Internship for Supplier Management – Vitesco Technologies TSR

Vitesco Technologies formerly (until September 2019) the Continental Powertrain Division, brings together the full spectrum of Continental’s drivetrain technology expertise. The company’s aim is to develop innovative, efficient electrification technologies for all types of vehicle. Its portfolio includes 48-volt electrification solutions, electric drives, and power electronics for hybrid and battery-electric vehicles. Furthermore, the product range counts electronic controls, sensors and actuators as well as solutions for exhaust after-treatment.

Job requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a University (Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree) with one of the following specializations: Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Informatics;
• English Language Skills – advance level;
• Well organized, technical planning and problem solving skills;
• Ability to creatively solve problems with minimal guidance, while maintaining a timely, cost effective approach;

Nice to have:

• Understanding the notions of SLA’s and KPI’s;
• Negotiations skills;
• Proactivity;
• Team-oriented person;

We are looking for a passionate student to join our IT Team as an Internship for Supplier Management activities. You will be working in close collaboration with a Supplier Manager for different projects regarding specific needs within our organization. You will have to collet different data from various sources in order to find the most suitable supplier when it comes to different IT topics.

Most important responsibilities:

• Establish proper reporting and monitor the performance of provider(s);
• Continuously adapt services to business needs;
• MS Office knowledge (Outlook and Excel at proficiency level);
• Supporting in driving our services towards state-of-the-art solutions within our team;
• Collaboration in an international team;
• Work together with our team on topics related to supplier management;
• Very good communications skills;
