Functional Safety Specialist Leader

Perfect Candidate

• Demonstrable experience in Automotive Industry
• Has hands-on experience in implementation of functional safety in the automotive domain.
• Has high-level overview of FS implementation across SW and HW.
• Automotive Software development experience in powertrain/EV/Hybrid domain.
• Understanding of Model Based System Engineering and design.
• Matlab/Simulink experience.
• Excellent Communication skills in Business English - spoken and written
• Ability to mentor and develop team members
• Collaborative working, drive for building high performance team
• Global customer management
• Ability to advise customer on critical issues; suggest appropriate solutions
• Familiar with C language programming in automotive domain.

Responsibilities
 

• Support to Perform Safety management activities according to relevant standards including DFMEA, FMEDA, qualitative and quantitative fault tree analysis.
• Support to develop safety architectures and safety plans to ensure compliance with ISO26262.
• Coordinate creation of functional safety documentation according ISO26262.
• Develop Safety Architectures and Safety Plans to ensure compliance with ISO26262.
• Review and Create Functional Safety Methodologies as per ISO26262.
• Prepare DIA and cascade to Project Managers, development team and Customers.
• Prepare Safety Plan and Safety Cases compliance to ISO26262.
• Perform reviews with R&D teams to ensure functional safety standards compliance met.
• Prepare and Review of Functional Safety manual according ISO26262.
• Project specific risk assessment and classification of the product, or evaluation of an existing classification.
• Organize and lead internal and external project team meetings.
• Regular reporting to project team and management.
• Provide training and Coaching to internal team members, Customer team members.
