Having a lot of units, partners and subcontractors with a wide range of business areas that use a varied range of components types in theirs business, arise in the Thales Group the need to produce indicator and manage a project for Software/System/Hardware projects inside Thales SIX France (Information System and Secured Communications).  

The main indicators produced are the following:

• Software source code qualimetry;

• Requirement qualimetry;

• Number of Problem Change Report;

• Number of test step passed in the System Validation inside Orchestra;

• Number of requirements;

• Software transformation and information about projects and organization inside Thales - SIX GBU;

• Work-package management;

• Information about work-package;

• Quality insurance;

• PPI data extraction production.

 
The main services made available for the end users by the Engineering Portal New Generation system will be: 

• Web Portal;

• Services Oriented Architecture (SOA);

• Rest interfaces (API);

• Batches for data extractions;

• Automatic computation of data in real time;

• Automatic computation of data in batch time.

 
We are seeking smart software developers passionate by web technologies and ergonomic interfaces to perform the development of a new Web Portal in cooperation with Thales France.  

The purpose is to develop and test software for graphical components, GUI and back-end for the Engineering Portal NG product. GUI will be specified thanks to UX Design workshop with end-users.   
After a period of knowledge transfer in France, the new Bucharest team will work accordingly to AGILE development life-cycle, through designing, developing and testing activities.  
 
Job summary 

• Design and implement mainly Front-end tasks and also back-end tasks using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result;

• Monitors and reports on the progress of software development project, using appropriate quality assurance processes to ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with agreed standards, methods and procedures;

• Tests the programmed solution;

• Takes part in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues’ work;

• Puts skills and project based experience into practice and provides support to less experienced colleagues;

• Acts as a liaison between Romanian & French teams.

 
Required competencies:  

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar;      

• Object Oriented programming;

• Java 8;

• Angular;

• Hibernate;

• Spring, Spring Boot;

• PHP;

• Ergonomics skills;

• Working  experience in software development with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3;

• Interface / communication: REST;  

• Knowledge in using: MySQL  and PostgreSQL;

• Knowledge in using: GIT, Maven, Sonar, Eclipse;  

• Knowledge of automation tools.
