ABA – Work in Austria is a department of the Austrian Business Agency, which also encompasses the national investment promotion consultancy ABA – Invest in Austria and the nationwide film commission Location Austria. - Approx. 3-year extensive training program ("on the job" training, alternating with theory courses, in Vienna and abroad) with intensive getting to know the engineering department and the workplace-specific systems
- Working with the most modern technologies from the field of air traffic control / IT, navigation, communication, surveillance, meteorology and much more
- Establishment, support, maintenance and monitoring of the air traffic control systems in the South region
- Providing location and navigation data, radio, weather, flight plan and flight advice data as well as the corresponding system landscape in a highly available and uninterrupted manner for air traffic controllers and meteorologists

- HTL or university degree specializing in telecommunications, computer science, electrical engineering, electronics or an equivalent field
- IT knowledge in particular of the UNIX, LINUX, Windows operating systems
- Ideally, AutoCAD / EPLAN knowledge
- Interest in information technology, especially network and communication technology
- Enjoyment of varied activities: coordination, supervision, planning, incident and problem management as well as project activities good written and spoken English knowledge
- Suitable for high altitudes / free from giddiness
- Communication skills, initiative, resilience, teamwork and willingness to work
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Driving license B and willingness to travel on business

- We offer a starting salary during the training of € 29,500 p.a., which increases as the training progresses. --- After successful training and self-reliant work, the gross annual salary is € 70,000 p.a.
