DNOC 2nd Line Engineer (with Italian)

Competences, knowledge and experience:

• Italian written and spoken needed
• English written and spoken optional
• Solid knowledge and proven work experience (minimum 1- 2 years) in Transmission Networks: Microwaves (preferably: Siae, Huawei, Nokia) / Ethernet / IP protocols;
MPLS knowledge
• Results and solutions oriented
• Team player

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Preferably higher technical studies (e.g.: Electronics and telecommunications University, Automation and Computers University, Informatics University, etc.)
• Certifications from telecommunication vendors (Cisco, SIAE, Huawei, Nokia, Alcatel, etc.) are desirable

Role purpose:

Implement and modify configurations of equipment and services in live transmission network.
Make sure all data loading activities are done according with existing procedures, with minimal impact for customers, maintaining quality and a high success rate, under agreed SLA&KPIs.

Main responsibilities:

• Evaluation and implementation of transmission network changes ensuring quality of service and avoiding regression on network functionalities
• Assist field engineers and Network Deployment department during integration and on site activities
• Drive root causes analysis to identify corrective actions on the configuration activities implemented, in order to achieve targets with limited service affection.
• Knowledge sharing in order to increase technical skills of other colleagues
