Electrical Engineer (Safety & Certification)

•Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering;
•Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in a production company;
•Strong knowledge and understanding of industry related safety regulations;
•Experience with new product introduction and product qualification testing and activities.
•Good communication skills;
•Good knowledge of English language.

Job purpose:

Lead the electrical safety and certification process of newly developed products and expansion of the existing products range in accordance with safety and environmental legislations. Secure electrical safety in all new designs of Product Development Department.

Key accountabilities:
•Accountable for obtaining and maintaining the electrical safety certification for the newly developed models and for the updates of the existing ones;
•Responsible for arranging 3rd body evaluations and performing all tests needed for in-house electrical safety and for electrical safety certification;
•Cooperates with Product Development Engineers and LAB Engineers to ensure that all projects comply with electrical safety regulations;
•Responsible to review and approve all drawings and documents related with electrical & electronic parts and produced by Product Development Department;
•Cooperates with other PD engineers and Lab engineers, Product Compliance Department and Certification Manager , as well as other stakeholders aiming a high quality product by analyzing the feedback, the observations and the results of prototypes and tests;
•Monitors and manages the certification budget execution;
•Ensures that projects are processed according to the procedures and priorities of the company;
•Responsible for the operation and maintenance / calibration of laboratory safety testing equipment;
•Reports to Product Development Supervisor, who defines priorities and work assignments;
