Chief Accountant - Bucharest

Previous relevant experience (at least 5 years);
University degree in the field of accounting, finance and economics;
Proficiency in working with SAP;
Good technical knowledge of MS office (Medium Excel);
Very good communication and problem-solving skills, highly team oriented;
Strong sense of responsibility; attentiveness, detail oriented;
Excellent communications skills and teamwork skills;
English as the working language;
Ability to analyse financial statements; contract management and preliminary review capabilities familiar with the Romanian tax system; ability to develop localized financial management system and process.

Our future colleague will work directly to organize, guide and take responsibility of the efficient performance of the financial and accounting activity of the company in accordance with the legal provisions in force.

What will you do?

Responsible for the financial system and the development of relevant financial process as well as later optimization;
Responsible for the contract review and payment approval;
Responsible for the financial treatment of the company;
Responsible for monthly, quarter and annual report statistics;
Responsible for regional corporate income taxes, VAT and other tax and fee declarations;
Responsible for accounting firm, law firm related financial and legal issues communication;
Manages cash receipts and payments and is responsible for the company's cash register;
Receives the expense statements from colleagues and verifies / ensures that they are prepared and approved according to the company procedures;
Keeps records of the internal and external expenses statements and monthly checks the settlement cash advances and the non-closed statements;
Issues the payment and collection provisions for cash operations and the invoices for the clients;
Verifies that the primary documents from the suppliers comply with the form requirements required by law and if they are correct in terms of the mandatory data contained in the invoice, contract, annex / timesheet where appropriate;
Prepares compensation orders, checks monthly sales log, prepares monthly statements (390);
Check and analyse account balances;
Collaborates with the audit team and provides the requested information and documents as soon as possible;
Participates in the inventory of assets - reconciliation of third balances, inventory of fixed assets, inventory objects
