Senior Manual Tester

-5+ years relevant testing experience
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
-Experience in testing web based applications
-Very good command of English language, both written and spoken (by the way, please send your CV in English)
-Experience working on an agile development team and with developers
-Imaginative (no kidding here) with good communication skills
-Experience with Test management tools(Jira, Confluence,..)
-Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments.
-Team player
-Not afraid to ask questions
-Experience in testing on embeded devices is a plus
-Experience or demonstrated interest in IoT is a plus.

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiast Senior Manual QA Engineer to maintain our FIN framework software solutions at the highest standard of quality on the market. J2 provides its software framework to OEMs, system integrators, resellers, installers, and end-users. This means FIN Framework can be found in the software systems of many leading players in the building automation market.


As a Senior Manual Quality Engineer you will be the user voice in our product development effort. During a product lifecycle your daily work might vary from:


-Create/design manual tests for testing product features
-Understand product features and implement, maintain and execute test cases and test scenarios
-Test and validate product features
-Overall testing for product release
-Contributing to feature specifications
-Identify, and record bugs
-Review testing coverage with developers, support, SEMs, etc.
-Understand BAS terms, concepts, and usability.
-Understand customer needs
-Participate in Daily, Sprint, PI Planning to understand next steps of our software and prepare the testing activities accordingly
-Mentor the Junior Manual QA
-Responsible for finding and reporting defects and software glitches during the Integration and Regression Test Cycles of the Release
-Review other test cases to provide feedback and improvements

The candidate that will succeed in this position will be able to create all the manual test cases and run them as required for their projects to successfully deliver in time and quality. Thus, the candidate may have to work on multiple projects at once.
