Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
-5+ years relevant testing experience in automated testing
-Experience in testing web based applications
-Very good command of English language, both written and spoken (by the way, please send your CV in English)
-Experience working on an agile development team and with developers
-Imaginative (no kidding here) with good communication skills
-Ability to learn new languages with relative ease, experience with high level Object Oriented languages and Functional Programming.
-Experience with Test management tools(Jira, Confluence,..)
-Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments.
-JavaScript/TypeScript and Protactor knowledge is a plus
-OOP knowledge is a must
-Team player
-Experience in testing on embeded devices is a plus
-Experience or demonstrated interest in IoT is a plus.

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiast Senior QA Automation Engineer to maintain our FIN framework software solutions at the highest standard of quality on the market. J2 provides its software framework to OEMs, system integrators, resellers, installers, and end-users. This means FIN Framework can be found in the software systems of many leading players in the building automation market.

As a Senior Quality Automation Engineer you will be the user voice in our product development effort. During a product lifecycle your daily work might vary from:


-Understand product features
-Create/design automated test for testing product features
-Implement, maintain and execute test suites
-Test and validate product features
-Overall testing for product release
-Contributing to feature specifications
-Evaluate testing process, make recommendations as necessary
-Identify, and record bugs
-Develop and maintain functional and regression tests to ensure code is functioning as designed
-Understand BAS terms, concepts, and usability.
-Understand customer needs
-Participate in Daily, Sprint, PI Planning to understand next steps of our software and prepare the testing activities accordingly
-Mentor the Junior Automation Engineers
-Review other automated tests to provide feedback and improvements

The candidate that will succeed in this position will be able to create all the automation frameworks as required for their projects while understanding the new functionalities and supporting their junior team members. Thus, the candidate may have to work on multiple projects at once.
