    TRANSPORT AND CUSTOMS RESPONSIBLE            Location: Bucharest         THE COMPANY Our client is one of the big players in HVAC industry in Romania, offering domestic and industrial heating and air conditioning solutions, as well as energy efficient solutions. In Romania they are present since 1998 and operates as the national subsidiary of the Ferroli Group.    THE ROLE To support the Logistic department, in managing the whole transport process from  following the arrival of the equipment in the country ( rail, road and water) until the delivery to the client, we are looking for a professional to fill in the role of Transport and Customs Responsible. The job holder will have to analyze transport costs, offers, and create a reliable network of transport providers. The new hire will have the responsibility to ensure the fast and correct flow of the transport, including customs regulations and report directly to the Logistic Director.                             RESPONSIBILITIES              Daily follow-up of the loading/delivery orders              Establishing transport routes and trucks necessary for loading              Optimizing the space available in the trucks              Tracking the loading / unloading of trucks according to the initial schedule              Efficiency of transport costs              Preparation of reports and managing the internal databases              Managing the database of existing transport providers and maintaining an optimal communication with suppliers              Constant market research for new suppliers, respecting the maximum margin allowed regarding cost-quality              Customs operations and ensuring the fast customs clearance of the products PROFILE The successful candidate will have the following knowledge, experience, skills, and attributes: •             +2 years’ previous work experiences in organization of domestic and international FTL / LTL transports, routing, planning, transport optimization, control of related costs •             Knowledge related to the CMR Convention, driving times and transport laws in force •             Knowledge of restrictions in certain access areas and proper truck planning •             English language fluency •             Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office package, especially Power Point and Excel To fit the organizational culture, the ideal candidate should be someone with developed negotiations skills, confident and persuasive for optimal interaction with partners of the company, excellent planning and organizing skills.
