    • At least 5 years in the FMCG industry, out of which the last 2 years on a managerial level
    • Knowledge and experience of the channel issues, trends, processes, and procedures very essential winning new business
    • Showing a clear understanding of the challenges and issues facing the industry at present and illustrate knowledge of the operational attention that will be required to succeed within the industry
    • Proven ability & experience in all aspects of planning and execution of sales strategy
    • Proven ability & experience in developing budgets & budgetary control
    • Proven ability & experience in achieving KPIs / targets
    • Proven ability & experience in performing a variety of tasks (multitasking)
    • Possessing very strong networking, prospecting, research, negotiation, persuading / closing skills / abilities


    Key Job Accountabilities:
    • Responsible for the generation, implementation/execution of the Business Development Plan for the area with very clear objectives & targets, strategies & tactical action plans, responsibilities/accountabilities, and deadlines
    • Responsible for ensuring the creation and retention of new customers
    • Responsible for ensuring that all new customers created regularly place orders and that POSMs given (if any) are exclusively being used for the client’s products only
    • Responsible for solving all problems that any Client faces and liaising with the relevant departments to ensure the problems are solved as soon as possible
    • Elaborating the sales budget for the Traditional Trade channel at the national level and ensuring that the established objectives are achieved, in accordance with the sales and marketing strategy;
    • Collaborating with the Trade Marketing Department in order to implement marketing programs and activities, monitoring the budget allocation, and evaluating their efficiency and impact.
