DevOps Engineer

The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

• 5+ years experience supporting Linux Systems;
• Experience with Openstack and Kubernetes;
• Experience with CentOS;
• University degree in computer science (preferable);
• Experience with high availability and failover clustering from different perspectives (OS, application, hardware);
• Experience in supporting streaming environments (preferable);
• MySQL, MongoDB knowledge; • Experience with message queues – RabbitMQ;
• Experience with system performance monitoring and tuning.

• Apply cloud computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes;
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment;
• Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines);
• Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security;
• Consult on new system requirements and be part in architectural design phase;
• Research and recommend technologies and tools for systems administration tasks;
• Install and document new systems and application servers;
• Operate, update, maintain and monitor environments on a daily basis;
• Perform periodic reporting of performance and tuning actions for assigned systems;
• Write automation and monitoring scripts;
