PCB Designer

The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

To ensure success in this role, you need the following experience and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Electronics, Computer Science or Engineering) is preferred;
• 1-2 years of related experience;
• Experience with Allegro, Cadence / OrCad;
• Previous background in manufacturing is a plus;
• Strong writing, communication and presentation skills;
• Ability to collaborate with a team;
• Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite;
• Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow up on issues to closure

A typical day might include the following:

• Reviewing and analyzing electrical design schematics and supporting documents to plan the layout of PCB
components and printed circuitry;
• Performing and understanding schematics capture, create and troubleshoot net list and routing rules from
provided information packages about the design;
• Conferring with engineers to resolve design details and problems;
• Performing placement and routing of PCBs for engineering review using Allegro, Cadence / OrCad;
• Preparing PCB routing layout for engineering review;
• Preparing PCB manufacturing data for use in PCB fabrication.
