On behalf of our client from the banking sector, we are recruiting an SQL Server Database Specialist

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance or Accounting (Economic Cybernetics is a plus);
Very good knowledge of SQL (MS SQL Server is an advantage);
Communicative and detail-oriented;
Ability to work in a team;
Ability to understand economic / banking terminology; willingness to understand and work with specific banking vocabulary;
Very good command of English language.

Your main responsibilities:

Administration of the Bank’s data warehouse;
Creating and managing scripts used for data import from the core system;
Data retrieval from existing relational databases (MS SQL Server) according to reporting specifications from internal beneficiaries;
MS SQL Server Reporting Services, MS Excel;
Conversion of data between different formats (e.g.: XML, ASCII, TEXT, CSV);
Analysis, reconciles and corrects the data stored in the database managed by department versus data stored in the accounting IT system;
Improvement of the existing reports, script tuning for performance, update reports due to new reporting rules;
Communicating with business departments in order to understand reporting needs.
