Requested skills:

- Good experience with AS400 and ERP WS
- Strong systems integration experience
- Strong experience with source control management systems and shared development in a large team
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and adapt to new processes quickly and to think "out of the box" to resolve issues
- Communicative competence (pro-active)
- Willingness to learn new things and extremely flexible if workflow is changing
- Fluent in English, German language is considered to be an advantage


Working days: Monday to Friday

Working hours: 09:00-18:00 EET

Availability for on-call outside of business hours (severity 1) and occasional weekend work, if required by the customer

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for user maintenance AS400 (set up new menu items / printer assignments)
- Start of pre-distribution on the AS400
- Responsible for environment automation
- Subsystems monitoring ERP server and ERP WS
- Check entries in program error file (TOXREF)
- Check QSYSOPR messages
- Troubleshooting based on user tickets (Service Desk Tool) in cooperation with internal or external developers depending on the project
- Distribution of changed RPG programs and file changes with the Aldon tool
- Coordination for system updates
- Monitoring the system during the day (Disk usage; file locks; ASP2; Restore Journal Receiver)
- Check jobs for completeness
- Check mail communication
- Printer administration
- Check sent by invoice
- Evaluations of product warnings
- Transfer of the production data to our development system for tests
- Reorganization measures
- Create and implement change requests for incidents/problems as needed
- Ensure compliance with security guidelines
- 3'Rd party vendor coordination and escalation
- Structure, draft and review technical documentation, document technical requirements and processes
- Responsible for uptime, performance, reliability, scalability, security, and high availability of infrastructure machines
- Responsible for Incident and Problem resolution, including Root Cause Analysis

- ITIL Certified
- Appreciated development skills: RPG programming language
