    Requirements

    • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

    • Experience with replication configuration in PostgreSQL

    • Knowledge of standards and best practices in PostgreSQL

    • Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements

    • Knowledge of PostgreSQL features, parameter configurations, WAL

    • Knowledge of automated test frameworks: JMeter, Tsung (or similar)

    Responsibilities

    • Analysis of a database installation in pre-production going into production

    • Help maintain the database, including analysis and implementation of a comprehensive stress testing plan

    • Issue software and hardware recommendations for optimal system functioning
