Data Lake Consultant

Ideally, as a Data Lake Consultant, you should have a background in data and business analysis so that you will be responsible for ongoing operations, according to best practices.

What we are looking for:

• University degree or equivalent work experience on computer sciences;
• Extensive and proven technical background in data warehousing with a good understanding of its core elements such as data ingestion, data unification/modeling and data consumption as well interest in elements related to data governance such as data quality, data lineage and metadata management.
• Strong knowledge of SQL;
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework;
• Knowledge of Azure platform (SQL Database, ADF, Data Lake);
• Strong analytical, communication skills and attention to detail;
• Good use of English language (comprehension, written and speech).

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Database design, modeling and data analysis on large amounts of data;
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms;
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses;
• Troubleshooting and fixing performance issues;
• Support software developers with database operations including the development of complex SQL, tuning of data models and the creation of stored procedures
