HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

In your role as VAT Analyst, you will be part of our success by:

- Prepare timely and accurately the declarations of VAT, Intrastat, EC Sales Listings and other regulatory reporting declarations for Europe

- Ensure accurate and timely processing of sales and purchases data and other relevant information from SAP, in order to produce complete and accurate declarations

- Identify, analyze, escalate and remediate material variances between VAT, Intrastat and EC Sales Listings

- Work with local auditors and fiscal authorities to ensure all regulatory reporting queries and VAT audits requests are answered in a timely manner

- Prepare the VAT accounts reconciliations, following the company accounting policies and agreed practices

- Initiate and support the implementation of process improvements and ad hoc VAT projects as per the business needs

- Ensure strong and effective communication with the internal and external stakeholders in relation with the VAT matters/ questions

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Required:

-Bachelor Degree or equivalent

-Fluent in English

-Strong understanding of accounting principles and of economic and tax principles

- Ability to work to tight deadlines, attention to details, good analytical skills

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel

- Strong communicator – able to participate in meetings, challenge current practice/process, raise and discuss issues with clarity.

- Other preferred qualification:

- Experience in VAT or other indirect taxes, preferably at the European level

- Experience of working in a shared services, process driven or service center environment

- Any other foreign language will be a plus
