• In depth understanding and working knowledge of CISCO switches, routers and firewalls
• Good knowledge PBX systems, VoIP networks
• Knowledge and working experience of TCP/IP networks
• Familiarity with mobile telephony technologies
• Familiarity and working Experience with at least one network monitoring tool
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecoms Engineering, Physics or an equivalent science.
• 2-3 years of experience in telecommunications.

• Monitor the operation and performance of the data and voice telecommunications network of the bank.
• Monitor the availability of the “network”
• Act in order to resolve network problematic situations.
• Install and configure routers, modems, switches and other telecoms equipment
• Install and configure Voice/PBX equipment
• Follow the correct execution of SLA agreements with third party telecom providers
• Design for future network expansion and perform capacity planning.
• Connect to the network peripheral devices such as ATM’s, EFT/POS’s etc.
• Connect the central IT systems of the bank to third parties such as Interbanking Organizations, Third Party Processors, Payment Delivery Organizations etc.
