Requirements Engineer

ALTEN Romania, part of the international ALTEN Group - with a unique position as Leader in IT & Engineering Consulting, provides support for its clients’ development strategies in the fields of innovation, R&D and IT systems since 1996. The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

To ensure success in this role, you need the following experience and skills:

• Minimum 5 years experience in Engineering, on a similar role;
• Knowledge in systems Modelling standards (UML, SysML, UAF/NAF);
• IEEE_1233, IEEE_830 and ISO 15288:2015 knowledge;
• Master’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent;
• Attention to detail;
• Organizational skills;
• Team Player;
• Analytical skills;
• Very good coordination and communication skills;
• Ability to work cross-functionally and in an international environment;
• Facilitation skills in order to lead requirements elicitation workshops;
• Excellent English communication skills (speaking and writing).

A typical day might include the following:

• Gathering requirements and directing the activities to the rest of the design team;
• Examining, analyzing and understanding the customer needs and requirements;
• Translating the customer needs and requirements into the system requirements and architectures that shape project development;
• Defining the system, hardware and software requirements;
• Identifying and analyzing the safety requirements;
• Providing support in developing the system, software and hardware architecture.
