We are recruiting for our growing office based in Bucharest a Python Expert (ETL) Developer for Abinitio flows migration who will be part of the Jafar ecosystem team.

Requirements:

You have experience in setting up a Python environment on Linux
You have experience in developing ETL Python processes
You have experience in transforming the existing highly performant Ab-Initio processes into Python processes
You are focused on continuous learning and you want to develop yourself
You have a problem solver orientation attitude and also good analytical skills
You speak English fluently, then you are thе best match for us

Responsibilities:

You havе the ability to multi-tаsk and the dеsirе to learn nеw technologies
You have senior experience with Python and also with ETL processing
You have the ability to take the lead on all Python related developments and can coach other team members to become Python developers
You have experience with technologies like Airflow, XML, JSON processing, Message Queueing: IBM Websphere MQ Series
You can develop a CI/CD pipeline
You have experience using shell scripting and technical design
You have experience of understanding of databases and data structure
You used data bases like: Mongo DB (non-relational database), Oracle, Oracle P/L SQL Developer
You can create competent construction of SQL queries: cost optimization/performance tuning
You have experience with data modelling tools techniques would be of advantage

Nice to have:

General knowledge of asset management
Knowledge of trading lifecycle and the entities involved (Order, Instrument, Position)
Knowledge of different asset types
