SQL&System Administrator

-Strong experience with large DBA projects - integrity checks, performance tuning, while facilitating development, backup and recovery of company’s systems and databases
-Solid experience with error handling, scheduling & batch processing
-Good understanding of MS Reporting Services and data analysis activities
-Databases design and management in a cloud environment is a plus
-Basic knowledge of project management processes and lifecycle
-Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills
-Customer oriented attitude
-Excellent pro-active problem solving skills, attention to detail
-Responsible, flexible and adaptable personality
-At least 3 years in the field of databases systems management and troubleshooting.

Nice to have skills, will be considered a plus:
-Knowledge of virtualization technologies on INTEL/AMD x86 (VMware)
-Knowledge of storage technologies (SAN and NAS)
-Knowledge of : Windows Server, Dns, AD , DHCP, IIS/Apache , Network fundamentals, subnetting, routing
-Storage and Back Up systems configuration and administration

-Direct management of databases systems in accordance with company policies.
-Install, configure, tune and troubleshoot database systems, creating strategies and approaches for database design and performance optimization.
-Quick diagnosis and recovery of critical databases systems in case of failure.
-Implement best practices for administering the company’s databases systems.
-Coordinates with the other IT Specialists in order to enhance the level of integration and user-friendliness for the Network Applications and Databases Services provided.
-Train support and offer technical advice and consultancy to users.
-Assist and support the IT Team in managing, monitoring, and maintaining all of the company’s databases systems and network applications.
-Provides backup and restore solutions, replication solutions, disaster recovery.
-Monitors and optimizes the live DBs.
-Ensure reliable IT services. Quickly inform and collaborate with the direct-line manager in order to resolve unexpected technical matters/problems.
