    Bosch Engineering Center Cluj was founded as an integral part of the Bosch worldwide engineering network in 2013. The Center is located partly in the heart of Cluj-Napoca and partly in Jucu. Our engineers give great importance to continuous innovation and they work on state-of-the-art technology projects. Automated Driving, Electric and Connected Mobility, Internet of Things, Industry 4.0. are just a few examples from the Bosch Engineering Center Cluj’s current portfolio. We work in close collaboration with other Bosch R&D Centers and with Bosch Plant Cluj. We specialize in software engineering, hardware and mechanical engineering, reliability engineering & quality validation, but also in mobility sales planning, thus, we offer our internal and external clients a complex range of products and services. 

    Qualifications

    Education:
    o Electronics, Electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or similar fields;

    Know-how:
    o Hands-on experience in soldering and sample build;
    o Familiar with testing equipment (power supplies, multi-meter, oscilloscope)
    o Basic knowledge in manufacturing and testing;
    o Experience with problem solving tools (Ishikawa, 8D etc.)
    o Microsoft Office medium skills;
    o Build-up and re-work electronic samples;

    Advantages if you have:
    o Experience with design tools (simulation, engineering calculation, schematic design);
    o Experience with sensors actuator and communication protocols (CAN, SPI, LIN, I2C, FlexRay);
    o LabVIEW software know-how;

    Personality:
    o Good communication skills and you like to share your knowledge with our junior colleagues;

    Languages spoken:
    o Fluency in English; German can be an advantage;

    Nice to have:
    o Willingness to undertake business trips abroad for trainings and project work;

      Job Description

      What you do

      • Analyze hardware failures from series production and returns from customer;
      • Analyze and test new hardware products;
      • Create test cases in correlation with customer requirements;
      • Create test reports and documentation according to the engineering and production quality processes;
      • Setup and modify laboratory test environment to perform root cause investigation;
      • Debug Software of hardware device under test;
      • Develop automation test and processes;
      • Coordinate and support validation process of product;
      • Build-up and re-work electronic samples;
      • Coordinate the review meetings and validate the results with the project team;
      • Keeping up to date and programming the testing equipment;
