At ING Tech in Romania, we’re transforming banking and we’re ready to transform your career. If you graduated technical studies (e.g. Automotive, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or others) but have experience in other domains and you are passionate about programming, this is your chance to switch your career! Everybody is welcome to enroll in this programme.
  What’s @ stake: {Dev}School – “Switch to Programming” Edition is an intensive hands-on training programme - Backend technology - fully sponsored by ING. Is all about developing your programming skills in an intense and fun learning experience. During this edition:

• You will develop your programming skills by learning data structures, algorithms, build systems, databases using core Java;
• You will also learn about clean code, unit testing and about being Agile and other interesting topics;
• If you successfully complete the training programme, you could put your skills at work in our IT Team.

• It will host 12 participants;
• It will last for 8 weeks, between June 16 – August 6, 2020;
• It will be organized in 2 sessions per week (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2 hours per day, from 6 to 8 pm).

• Determined to tackle learning Java and curious to discover ING Tech;
• Has a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Physics, Automotive, Engineering, Chemistry etc.)
• Had graduated a programming course (in Java/JavaScript/Python/SQL etc.)
• A logical thinker, who has a good eye for details;
• A good team player;

• Determination to understand algorithms;
• Good command of English.
