    Requirements

    Your profile:

    A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
    Excellent English, both written and verbal
    Relevant experience in managing Payroll activities for a Romanian or other European company, preferably in a Shared Services Centre environment
    Ability to read, interpret, and act on Payroll professional standards and procedures
    Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
    Ability to understand and use various HR systems
    Continuous improvement mindset
    Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate at several levels of internal management across the region
    Very good analytical, organizational skills and strong attention to details
    Previous experience with Workday HR system or managing interfaces would be considered a plus

    Responsibilities

    What is the role about?

    As a Payroll Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:
    • Work closely with regional HR, Country HR, Finance and external Payroll Vendor to ensure correctness of data, as well as with internal and external auditors, when needed
    • Review Payroll processes, procedures, making changes while ensuring adequate controls are in place and followed
    • Ensure that all procedures are thoroughly documented and include proper checklists to ensure all essential process steps are followed
    • Recommend improvements to the Payroll process, as well as standardization of current Payroll definitions across Europe.
    • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
    • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases / data systems
    • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets
    • Monthly identification of labor cost reporting gap between HR and Finance system and report it in a standardized format
    • Coordinate data transfer from Corporate Office to subsidiary for expatriates
