    Bosch Engineering Center Clujwas founded as an integral part of the Bosch worldwide engineering network in 2013. The Center is located partly in the heart of Cluj-Napoca and partly in Jucu. Our engineers give great importance to continuous innovation and they work on state-of-the-art technology projects. Automated Driving, Electric and Connected Mobility, Internet of Things, Industry 4.0. are just a few examples from the Bosch Engineering Center Clujs current portfolio. We work in close collaboration with other Bosch R&D Centers and with Bosch Plant Cluj. We specialize in software engineering, hardware and mechanical engineering, reliability engineering & quality validation, but also in mobility sales planning, thus, we offer our internal and external clients a complex range of products and services.


    o Electronics, Electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or similar fields;

    o Hands-on experience in soldering and sample build;
    o Basic knowledge in manufacturing and testing;
    o First contacts with plant quality assurance measures e.g. QC testing and product validation testing;
    o Experience with problem solving tools (Ishikawa, 8D etc.);
    o Deep knowledge of analog and digital circuits;
    o Familiarity with design and simulation tools (e.g Pspice, LTSpice, Altium, Zuken, Mentrographics);

    o Good communication skills and you like to share your knowledge with our junior colleagues;
    o Passion for new technologies and innovation;
    o The ability to adapt and to synthesize;
    o Analytical way of thinking and a reliable way of working;

    Languages spoken:
    o Fluency in English; German can be an advantage;

    Nice to have:
    o Willingness to undertake business trips abroad for trainings and project work;

      Job Description

      What you do

      • Analyze hardware failures from series production and returns from customer;
      • Create test reports and documentation according to the engineering and production quality processes;
      • Setup and modify laboratory test environment to perform root cause investigation;
      • Debug Software of hardware device under test;
      • Develop test automation processes;
      • Design electronic circuits and schematics;
      • Analyse and understand hardware requirements of automotive and non-automotive applications;
      • Evaluate technical solutions and work on design feasibility studies;
      • Build-up and re-work electronic samples;
      • Verify electronic samples in hardware laboratory;
      • Set-up and modify testing concepts;
