PIPING DESIGNER

Piping designers are responsible for providing basic piping design and analysis of assigned deliverables. These complex deliverables are represented by pipe plant design, pipe stress analysis, pipe support design, piping specifications, piping engineering and specialty items.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Develop piping studies of all pipes within a designated area using plot plans, piping & instrument diagrams and equipment data sheets in accordance with instructions, specifications and standards
• Determine platform and structure requirements and layouts to accommodate related piping, equipment and other relevant installations
• Generate isometrics and piping plan drawings in accordance with procedures and execution plans
• Check isometrics on the basis of all applicable checking procedures 
• Assist with Material Take Off Engineer
• Operate 3D model review system including setting out animation paths when required
• Work in specialized software such as PDS, PDMS or S3D

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering
• Ideally, also relevant experience in the design field
• Intermediate understanding of the English language
• Willing to relocate to Czech Republic (Brno)
