MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT ENGINEER

Equipment engineers are responsible for the mechanical design and analysis of rotating, static or special equipment. They work on conceptual studies, cost and planning studies, layouts, design calculations and specification development. Equipment engineers also supervise vendor technical documentation for equipment and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Apply all relevant procedures, practices and standards
• Ensure equipment is in accordance with process and project requirements
• Write and handle equipment technical specification documents
• Make technical evaluations of incoming quotations from bidders and verify completeness of scope and compliance with specifications
• Review drawings, documents, and inspection and test procedures from the sellers

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Ideally also relevant experience in mechanical design or engineering
• Intermediate understanding of the English language
• Willing to relocate to Czech Republic (Brno)
