Analyst AML – Financial Investigations

Your Mission: Within Financial Security (FCC), the Financial Intelligence (FI) service is a department attached to FCC / AML whose mission is to deal with matters of fight against money laundering (AML), fight against the financing of terrorism and corruption at Group level. In this perspective, FI's action is part of a triple approach to processing sensitive files for the Group, sharing expertise with the FCUs and identifying new trends that could impact Société Générale. Your Role in a Nutshell: Within this service, the function of financial security analyst dedicated to the preparation of regulatory files - mainly consists of:

• Prepare, on behalf of the FI team, documentation relating to investigations of national or even international scope;
• Collect, through the tools made available to the analyst, the documentation required by the authorities (most often, account statements, copies of checks, transfers, etc.);
• Transmit a complete file to the central team within limited deadlines, including a pre-analysis of the operations identified in connection with the customer relationship;
• Realize researches using press articles or publications and prepare briefing notes or summaries, both in English and in French.

• Strong AML / CFT experience is required (compliance, fraud, KYC, due diligence)
• General transversal knowledge of the banking trades and products
• Knowledge of European, French and US regulatory frameworks on AML themes
• A very good level of French and English both written and oral
