Project context:
Electricity markets – critical IT systems – trading platform – near real-time applications.
The projects are executed within an international environment involving software development and implementation held in multi-sites and multi-countries. Hence both technical skills and interpersonal (communication both in oral and written form, self-organization, reporting, autonomy, decision making, English) are of utmost importance.

Job Overview:
This opportunity is for a Software Project Engineer working on our suite of products. You will configure and deploy systems to customers sites that manage electrical distribution systems as part of a committed team with a varied skill set. This may include such tasks as hardware and network installation, cyber security, data transformation, automation, scripting, interface integration, configuration, testing and training. A Software Project Engineer is expected to be adaptable and customer focused, taking responsibility for their work and ensuring that key milestones and expectations are met. Projects may range from small upgrades executed remotely to multi-year installations across remote sites.

Main requirements:
• Post Graduate Degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent work experience;
• Experience with SCADA system behavior and operation;
• Experience in software integration;
• Knowledge of Windows or Linux System Administration;
• Knowledge of SQL Databases;
• Experience with virtual machine and virtualization (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V);
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP);
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Perl / PowerShell / VBScript);
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (C / C++ / C# / Java);
• Good communication in English (both written and spoken);
