Required skills:

Strong Linux administration experience
Knowledge of ETSI Network Function Virtualisation model with focus on VNF and NS Life Cycle Management
Strong Knowledge of Cloud Computing concepts and platforms such as OpenStack and hypervisor technology (KVM, ESXi)
Strong Knowledge of Software Defined Networking Data Center & SD-WAN technology
Working experience with Oracle / EnterpriseDB
Good Knowledge of IP Networking, Routing, Services Topology: IPv4 and IPv6, QoS, Security
Working experience with IP tracing in a complex network and multi-protocol analysis.
Knowledge of Mobility and LTE architecture is required.
Experience with SIP protocol and IMS based services is necessary.
Experience with SS7 tracing, ability to discuss, identify and name the notes in a typical SIP call flow and the notes in an IMS/Application Server platform and the function of each note.
Desired skills:

Experience in Consulting and providing professional services directly to external Customers, from Solution Consultation, Deployment Design, Testing and Customer Acceptance
Experience creating Heat Orchestration Templates
Experience with commissioning tools like ansible playbooks
Knowledge of Network Management & API concepts and protocols such as NETCONF, YANG, SNMP, REST
Multi-vendor OSS integration experience

We are currently looking for a passionate NFV Engineer. This is a hands-on support position that requires telecom experience and virtualisation administration background.

Job responsibilities:

Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of the platform (network servers, virtualisation, etc)
Install and upgrade components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
Provide documentation and technical specifications to colleagues and customer’s staff for planning and implementing upgrades of the platform infrastructure
Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
