Senior General Ledger Accountant

Previous experience in a General Ledger role for a minimum of 3 years is a must;
Good knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting;
Advanced Excel skills;
Good knowledge of SAP FI Accounting systems;
University degree in Economics, Finance or related field;
Fluent in English ( French or another European Language is a plus);

Performing GL Accounting activities for assigned branches of the company, in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP;
Taking part in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end closing, in accordance with the company's reporting calendars;
Working in close cooperation with the company branches, subsidiaries, Finance Directors of operating entities assigned;
Performing Asset Accounting tasks, such as asset activations, disposals, transfers or reclassification;
Performing accounts reconciliations - bank, assets, provisions, deferrals;
Analysing the company's Financial Statements in order to ensure compliance and integrity of financial reporting;
Keeping close communication with clients assigned, providing useful information as per their requests;
Performing ad-hoc project work, including analysis of deliverables, as well as meeting deadlines and providing appropriate information and communication for the management;
Providing continuous enhancement of data quality on a global level by developing and analysing meaningful KPIs.
