Senior/IT Business Applications Analyst

This role is dedicated to those of you looking for developing your knowledge in business analytics while enhancing your experience in offering worldwide technical support to Finance internal end users.
The Senior/IT Business Applications Analyst role is part of the IT Application Solutions Extended Team, attached to the SNC-Lavalin’s Shared Service Center based in Bucharest. 

While covering this position, you will be working closely with other colleagues across geographies to provide support for Finance end users located globally: solving troubleshooting problems, system issues and responding to general inquiries related to Oracle R12 EBS ERP, Hyperion EPM, and BI Business Objects. You will also collaborate with the system providers on specific IT services.
 
Responsibilities

• Offer support to business and team members in financial systems support tickets resolution
• Perform root cause analysis & identify solutions for all levels of complexity
• Proactively identify areas for business systems improvement and lead enhancements analysis and deployment
• Discovery of new solutions and integration testing
• Manage Service Requests and collaborate with third-party providers for solution development and implementation
• Lead technology hub projects and take ownership of quality delivery
• Design & document test plans for new developments or data updates 
• Extract ad-hoc reports for all levels of complexity through existing tools and SQL
• Mentoring team members and provide technical expertise for the technology hub

Requirements

• Proficiency in English (French would be a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant specialization  
• Experience in working with Oracle e-Business Suite /Hyperion/ SAP BO or another ERP / EPM/ BI
• Relevant experience with business processes mapped into the system functionalities
• Advanced knowledge of SQL
• Candidate based in Romania
• Proficiency in Romanian
