Technical Interface Coordinator

As a provider of internal IT services for METRO GROUP, METRO SYSTEMS Romania provides specialized consulting to retail companies in all aspects of IT, develops specific solutions along the full value chain and provides a powerful IT infrastructure with a team of over 900 IT professionals.

The LUCA Digital Finance project lays the foundation for the cross-company digital finance strategy. Our main focus is to simplify, standardize and automate the financial processes in all METRO countries. We are looking for a technical coordinator who takes care on the incoming and outgoing interfaces to/from LUCA.

You’re a great fit if you have:

Degree in economics or applied business informatics (or a comparable field of study);
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in management of development teams;
Excellent experience in project work, use of project management tools and methodology;
Strong level of communication skills;
Willingness to travel for the first 12 months – 100% remote in Düsseldorf;
Knowledge of middleware solutions such as SAP PI/PO, EAI /EDI is desirable;
Independent, goal-oriented working style, strengths in strategy, planning and organization;
High motivation and innovative capability, flexibility and resilience;
Very good communication skills in English;
Deep knowledge about SAP architectures and system landscapes (HANA, S/4 HANA, Cloud), ERP cluster architectures and ideally experience from system landscape optimization projects;
Committed team player with a high sense of responsibility;
Extensive experience in the administration of data communication formats;
Basic understanding of the SAP modules, especially MM, FI, CO and the corresponding master data;
ABAP development experience is an advantage;
Initial experience S/4HANA would be an advantage, deep knowledge of SAP ECC landscapes mandatory.

What will you do:



Management of the subproject SAP Basis (Metro) for a S/4HANA Greenfield implementation reporting to the project director;
Participation in all planning activities for realization of an integrated interface concept;
Coordination of the obligations for the realization of the finance and controlling process related S/4HANA interfaces with an implementation partner;
Survey, analysis, consolidation and prioritization of professional and technical requirements in the respective environment in cooperation with internal and external experts;
Tracking of the services and delivery components of the implementation partner;
Creation and supporting of a status reporting and participation at regular calls;
Ensuring the know-how transfer for future operations and further development on the Metro side;
Coordination of interface requirements and interface development;
Analysis, design and implementation of interfaces integrated with middleware solutions;
Support for the industrialized rollout of generic solutions in all roll-out countries;
Support in gap analysis and realization of country-specific interfaces;
Ensure implementation, documentation, monitoring and alerting;
Support of ongoing operations.
