Unit Test Engineer

About the Role
The Unit Test Engineer will be part of a team responsible for testing software on embedded automotive Telematics systems.

What You Will Do
• Review Software specifications, Testing procedures, Creating/Assisting on test cases
• Test and Validate accordingly to the requirement and specifications
• Write Unit test cases and create detailed reports for the testing procedure
• Provide real time status for the current tasks and report weekly activity
• Create/Update documentation for the testing procedures
• Participate in test validation review sessions, weekly meeting, project sync
• Act according the standards of the automotive industry and in-car applications

What You Need
• 1+ year of experience as a Unit Test / SW Test Engineer
• Knowledge or experience with Software Testing (White box/Grey box)
• Linux experience (low-medium level, Virtual Machine, etc)
• Good English communication skills both written and verbal
• HW setup knowledge

What is Nice to Have
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other relevant (IT connected) specializations
• Some experience in Programming/Scripting (one or more languages from: Python, Bash )
• Knowledge of virtual test environment
• Experience in using measurement devices like Multimeters, Oscilloscopes.
• Automotive software testing experience
• Implement and develop automatic test solutions
