Accounting Reporting Specialist

Desired Skills and Experience •            Bachelor’s degree required in accounting (preferred), finance or economics •            Minimum of three years of experience in accounting and financial reporting •            Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required •            Statutory accounting and reporting experience very helpful •            Must be detailed orientated with strong interpersonal skills •            Excellent written and verbal communication skills •            Very Good command of English (written and verbal) •            Overtime is required during peak periods throughout the year (month / year end) Specific responsibilities include: •            Prepare and deliver as per group reporting calendar & guidelines the monthly / quarterly / yearly set of reports •            Assist Finance Manager in Budget preparation / variance analysis / management reports  / Intercompany tariffs computation (including regular true-ups) •            Prepare and deliver reports required by National Bank of Romania, National Institute of Statistics (including INTRASTAT) •            Work closely with financial accounting team, ensuring the group reports are reflecting accurately local GL, any differences being properly explained and monitored; is responsible also for the correct allocation of costs / expenses to relevant P&L item in line with group / local guidelines •            Ensure compliance with group and local accounting standards •            Support local finance team for delivering in due time the day-to-day activities •            Collaborate with Group / HO finance teams in order to meet the Group reporting deadlines and requirements •            Collaborate with local Finance team in providing data / info requested by Statutory Auditors or any relevant tax/control body •            Report to Finance Manager
