SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER TIMISOARA

Yazaki Component Technology, part of Yazaki Corporation, represents a world leader in developing and manufacturing of electrical and electronic components for the greatest car makers in the world.

Pro-actively contributing into international electronics projects in line with the global Purchasing- and Quality strategy of Yazaki;
Driving component process qualification according to APQP or VDA maturity level assurance;
Ensure component approvals of electronic components under consideration of customer- and project requirements and intervention in case of target deviation;
Evaluation of purchasing decisions according QCDE and pro-actively influencing the supplier selection;
Coordination of the supplier quality planning in line with the Yazaki Global Program Management System (GPMS) to ensure flawless launches at our supply base within our international automotive projects;
Representation of the supplier quality function in the program management team;
Flexible working in different automotive projects;
Process audits of supplier manufacturing processes according to VDA 6.3.

Master or bachelor degree in engineering, equivalent technical or commercial engineer preferably with specialisation in auditing and quality management techniques;
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar environment of an international matrix organization of an automotive 1st Tier;
Very good knowledge of APQP, manufacturing of electronic components and process approval including problem solving skills;
Being a certified VDA 6.3 process auditor is a plus;
Very good communication skills within an international automotive environment with intercultural sensitivity;
Fast reaction with strong result orientation;
Ability to condense complex information and communicate it;
Business English language skills are mandatory;
Willingness for international business trips.
