    Requirements

    At least 5-year experience working with appropriate information systems (SAP, SAPHR etc.) in the field of finance reporting (R2R), procurement processing (P2P), sales and distribution (O2C), human resources (HR), technology or related subject (eg MDM);
    Understand the criticality of tightly controlled data management and data quality;
    Excellent knowledge of the BAT business and data operating model, built over several years of operating within the BAT Shared Services or End Markets environments;
    Ability to identify, initiate and lead work on cross-functional data issues;
    Proven competence in project management techniques (PRINCE2) and work prioritisation;
    Strong relationship and interpersonal/communication skills;
    Able to deconstruct complex data issues and convey them in a business relevant format to key business stakeholders and forums with simple and clear messages;
    Proven influencing skills with stakeholders across the business functions and grades from non-management up to the Heads of Global Ops Functions;
    Rational, logical process-driven thinking and decision making;
    Excellent skills for prioritising multiple tasks, deadline-conscious, completer/finisher and customer service orientated;
    Output and outcome oriented, able to organise required resources;
    Fluent English with strong communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for the end-to-end co-ordination and delivery of the data quality management processes in relation to any reported data incidents that are impacting operation of the allocated business processes in the specified geographical / organisational area;
    Responsible for the engagement and alignment of data quality requirements with all relevant stakeholders;
    Management and delivery of a data quality monitoring and remediation work plan covering a rolling 12-month tactical horizon;
    Ensure data management tools (. SAP MDG, DQR, GRC PC, SF, etc) are fully updated with most recent data business rules;
    Cooperate with Data Stewards in achieving high level of data compliance;
    Responsible for delivery of micro projects required to extend and expand data quality monitoring scope though effective management of IT suppliers or self-service capability build;
    Actively promote data standards / quality as a critical business asset throughout the organisation;
    Act as a Data SME, when required, in relation to assessment and coordination of the data retrofit activities;
    Accountable for co-ordinating, managing the scoping, analysis, remediation planning and execution monitoring of any data issues reported thru data quality monitoring applications or data incidents raised by business users;
    Consultation about and revision of business / project requirements and related documentation to verify data standards adherence and identify new - or changes to existing - data standards and business rules;
    Track compliance to data standards and raise recommendations to relevant governance bodies in case of failure or new opportunities;
    Provision of a data validation service to the BAU MDM processes;
    Responsible for 2 direct reports (APME and AmSSA Regional Data Quality Assurance Officers);
    Responsible for network of business stakeholders across the business functions and seniority to be engaged, influenced, aligned and managed.
