Essential Requirements

• Enrolled in the 3rd year undergraduate degree in Economics or related degree program
• Excellent written and verbal English skills;
• Ability to rapidly assimilate diverse data and make decisions;
• Communication and adaptability, analytic spirit and critical thinking;
• Attention to details, good administrative and prioritizing skills;
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word);

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor / Master’s degree preferred;
• Experience in an international environment.

Are you a high-achieving student or graduate with a background in Finance, Economics or IT and a desire to start a bright career in one of the largest companies in the world? In Finance, we are looking for an Internal Audit Intern to join our Assurance Risk and Compliance team in Bucharest and play a key role in the evolution of Dell in EMEA and the US.

Key Responsibilities

During the 3 months internship within the internal audit team, you will support the Assurance Risk and Compliance team and engage with North America colleagues and business partners to assess, monitor and improve the control environment and thus to add value to the businesses in North America, Mexico and Canada:

• Support audit engagements across the North America organization by testing various processes and controls implemented by business (guidance and supervision from the audit team at hand, if necessary or requested);
• Prepare basic working papers, testing guides and other audit documentation, in line with Assurance Services quality standards and requirements;
• Participate in opening and closing calls organized by lead auditors and interact with the North America business partners;
• Participate together with the audit team in performing risk analyses, developing recommendations and following-up on previously identified issues;
• Support different members of the team with their respective functional pillar activities;
• Use a fresh perspective to research and identify alternatives to existing processes which drive either heightened controls or business simplification.
