Middle/Senior Software Java Developers

No previous financial experience is required making this an ideal role to enter the FinTech space and a fantastic opportunity to learn in depth some of the most important aspects of trade processing utilised by all major investment banks.

As a Software Developer, you will:

• Work in a team using Agile based development process and contribute to the further development of our approach of using true Agile
• Solve complex problems and provide solutions to a range of clients utilising our existing and new platform offerings
• Demonstrate drive to take initiative and follow through tasks to completion at a high level of quality
• Undertake the analysis of client issues and new requirements
• Provide effective solutions in a timely manner and verify those solutions in cooperation with QA engineers
• Identify process improvements and ways of working
• Build knowledge of the relevant financial products and workflows to enhance productivity.

• Good knowledge of C++ and/or Java programming language, plus SQL, Linux, Windows
• Strong understanding of object oriented design and programming concepts
• Ability to distil and understand requirements, get to the bottom of a problem and come up with an efficient solution
• Experience with maintaining high quality code – utilizing techniques like unit testing, pair/mob programming, and code reviews.
• High work ethics and motivation to continuously improve both yourself and your environment
• Some working knowledge or experience in some of the following: Angular, Docker, PaaS, OpenShift (training will be offered)
• Good knowledge of English
