Senior Accountant - Team Leader

The Ideal Candidate:
• Economics graduate, with more than 4 years’ experience in local and international accounting;
• Excellent computer knowledge (especially EXCEL) plus ability to work with special accounting
software (SAP);
• CECCAR member – a great advantage;
• Clear and concise communication both spoken and written in English;
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and analytically;
• Proven ability to organize and clearly communicate thoughts and ideas;
• Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate and develop staff;
• Act as role model for the team members;
• Very good interpersonal, motivational and leadership skills;
• Process oriented, organized, structured and detailed;
• Ability to manage uncertainty and to work within difficult contexts;
• Ability to manage human resources and facilitate team-work.
• Pro-active attitude.

Job Description:
• Prepares, reviews and submits monthly statements (D300, D390, D394);
• Prepares, reviews and submits monthly statements (AFM, BNR, INS);
• Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions;
• Check and post differed accruals (income and expenses);
• Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from the responsible departments involved in the process;
• Support for all the finance areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets;
• Maintain accounting ledgers as required;
• Engages management over any problems encountered;
• Audit ledgers to ensure they contain correct information;
• Responsible with maintaining relation with state authorities;
• Key person in relation with the bank operations;
• Support for internal and external audit;
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
