Buyer (automotive prototype parts)

The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (Technical or Economics studies);
3+ years of experience as a Buyer or in a similar position;
Good computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint);
Strong communication and negotiation skills;
Good analytical and strategic thinking skills;
Attention to details;
Very good level of English and/or French.

Research, select and purchase quality prototype parts and equipments;
Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing;
Follow-up with with the suppliers to ensure delivery on time;
Process requisitions and update management on status of orders;
Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures;
Collaborate with technical team, management, and stockroom as required;
Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers;
Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
