Product Owner

As a provider of internal IT services for METRO GROUP, METRO SYSTEMS Romania provides specialized consulting to retail companies in all aspects of IT, develops specific solutions along the full value chain and provides a powerful IT infrastructure with a team of over 900 IT professionals.

You are a great fit if you have:

• Minimum of 2 years of working as a product owner with experience in leading agile projects
• Expertize in order management or point of sales system/solutions knowledge is an advantage
• Knowledge and understanding of technical engineering best practices (e.g., test-driven development, continuous integration, etc.) and data modelling and engineering – you are able to communicate effectively with the expert developers in your team
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and microservice architectures
• Relentless prioritization and alignment with business stakeholders to ensure highest value capture
• Enjoys and gets energized by complex problem solving and ability to push the innovation on solutions
• Expert communicator with stakeholders and team members to achieve a shared understanding.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
