    Requirements

    Global Employer Services (GES) forms part of the Deloitte Tax practice. In Europe, GES comprises over 2,400 tax professionals in 28 countries, serving companies who have employees who travel internationally as part of their job. We provide taxation, immigration, social security and employment law advice and compliance services to our clients and their globally mobile employees.

    In 2014, the EU adopted an Enforcement Directive to strengthen the protection of posted workers (a posted worker is a worker who, for a limited period, carries out his or her work in an EEA member state other than the state in which he or she normally works). This “Posted Workers Directive” (PWD) means that companies are obligated to make timely notification to each member states labor authorities. We support a number of our clients in complying with the PWD notification requirements in our Bucharest delivery centre.

    As the project manager of the team, you will support with the implementation of our technology driven outsourcing solution to PWD notifications, as well as overseeing an ever-growing team supporting member firms deliver PWD compliance for our clients.

    Role description

    The role will involve day-to-day management of the Bucharest PWD team, as well as undertaking project management functions on delivery of client accounts. You will have the opportunity to work on large accounts and be involved with a wide variety of activities within the business.
    Hours

    The role is a full time, permanent position. However, we encourage candidates to discuss any agile or flexible working requirements that they may have.

    Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in business-relevant subject
    • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and strong communication skills with the ability to discuss project work within an offshore outsourcing model
    • 5-6 years professional experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    • Strong team skills, with a willingness to work remotely with a UK based team
    • Project/workload management skills and experience to ensure timely delivery of client work.
    • An ambition to develop a career within the sphere of project management and coordination
    • Experience in HR outsourcing or working with a Big4 professional services firm is desirable but not mandatory.
    • Experience in a client-facing role is desirable but not mandatory.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide up-to-date management information on the Bucharest PWD team, for example, analysis on availability, engagement needs, utilisation, and pipeline as required
    • Undertake project management activities on client accounts for the wider PWD team
    • Work with lead account teams in various Deloitte offices and clients to draft implementation project plans and scope out projects.
    • Attend and lead weekly/monthly calls between client and lead Deloitte account teams
    • Act as the point of escalation for all Bucharest PWD related matters (SLA’s/KPI’s, team performance, technology etc).
    • Assist in pulling together large proposals in co-ordination with the bids team.
    • Provide ad-hoc support to the team, independent proof reading of correspondence, reviewing reports etc.
    • Directly support the business leadership, key stakeholders and practitioners playing an important role in the implementation and delivery of any operational projects
    • Proactively identify and implement improvements to processes across the business area
