- 2 to 5 years of experience on a similar position in purchasing area, preferably in automotive industry
- Good PC / software knowledge/skills Proficiency in Excel
- Experience in cost analysis, strong analytical skills & business awareness
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize organizational goals with the needs of the customer
- Able to review projects, monitor and analyze progress and make and/or recommend changes as required
- Very good negotiations and interpersonal skills
- Teamwork spirit, accountability, ability to cope with stress, result orientation;
- Very good English

 - Place and monitor material orders to vendors
- Communicates with suppliers about product / service information (prices, availability, delivery terms etc)
- Negotiate with suppliers the price and delivery terms and you will escalate when needed
- Checking the correctness of the suppliers' invoices based on the orders placed
- Track inventory /material orders for excess avoidance and stock index and prepares risk reports
- Request quotes, review offers, negotiate contracts and select suppliers
- Participate in the implementation of the technical changes initiated by the customer / supplier in accordance with the procedures
- Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of key metrics
- Resolves escalation issues and find resolution including contract compliance failures
- Proactive work with management team to identify savings/efficiency opportunities
- Purchases assigned items at the best cost from reliable sources, following established standards for quality, quantity, and other factory requirements of the business
- Advises management of improvements on standard materials and equipment, price changes, marketing changes and source changes
- Implement strategies and actions to find the best suppliers, standardization and/or demand management
- Prepare, review and analyze documents, lead the negotiation process with suppliers
