Power Electronics Design Engineer, Location: Cluj-Napoca

Sales Consulting activates on the HR market since 1998, having a national coverage in several areas of expertise: recruiting and selection assessment center HR market mapping/due diligence projects, personnel leasing, payroll.

Sales Consulting has 2 fully operational branches: Cluj-Napoca (also the head-office) and Bucharest.
We are developing various projects (Recruitment, Training and Consultancy) in some of the most varied type of industries:
- AUTOMOTIVE/PRODUCTION/ENGINEERING (Specialists and Middle & Top Management positions)
- OUTSOURCING (BPO/SSC/CC)
- IT & C (C++, C#, .NET, Java, Linux etc)
- FMCG (sales & purchasing positions; all levels)
- PHARMA (all levels)

- BSc/MSc degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and 3 years of related experience
- Advanced knowledge in power electronics, especially in drives and inverters for motion control applications
- Familiar with motor technologies in general and especially with permanent magnet synchronous motors
- Design experience based on global directives and product related standards
- Demonstrate very good English language skills both written and verbal
- Willingness to travel to our global power electronic departments to work on the common platform strategy

- Develop and evaluate power electronic drive concepts and designs based on a global platform strategy
- Working on drive specification documents, component selection and the definition on product validation test plans
- Collaborating with ext. design and manufacturing partners on the schematics, PCB, BOM and test specification
- Involving and working with 3rd party agencies like VDE, TÜV in the specification and qualification process
- Verification testing’s against the specification in terms of functionality, reliability, efficiency and standard conformity
