About the role
Working as a Technical Engineer Intern for Microsoft was truly empowering!
“As a final year university student, the internship represented my first step towards building a career and it gave me, not only the opportunity to grow and develop professionally, but also personally.
During the internship, we had intensive trainings on the latest Microsoft products and technologies, and mentors whom we shadowed in order to have a better understanding of the Technical Engineer role.
I believe that the people working for Microsoft are the company's biggest asset. Their knowledge and growth mindset empowered us to believe that we can accomplish everything we want.
Working in teams, we had to build a "proof of concept" project from scratch. Our different personalities, ideas and skills, together with the cutting-edge technology we had access to, allowed us take up challenges, and helped us to achieve more by delivering a better, innovative solution. My experience as an intern convinced me to pursue a career in Microsoft, and as a result, I decided to apply for Microsoft Academy for College Hires, an amazing program for recent graduates. Now, I am proud to say that I'm working for Microsoft, as a SQL Server Technical Engineer.”
