We are looking for:

An experienced, tech-savvy Software Engineer to take part in the implementation of safety-critical software for the latest Air Traffic Management systems using object-oriented and model-based development as an approach. You will have the opportunity to work in an international environment and be part of global technology projects in a team of highly skilled engineers addressing real-world issues, designing software that protects businesses and lives while maintaining the highest level of safety in the aerospace industry.

What you must have:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar;
• General programming skills in one of the following programming languages: C, C++, • • Java SE;
• Advanced experience in XML;
• General knowledge of Shell scripting;
• Proven background in code versioning systems (preferably GIT);
• Experience in working with at least one continuous integration tool (preferably Jenkins, Sonar);
• English proficiency (spoken and written);
• Strong planning and controlling capacity;
• Initiative and innovation capacity;
• Strong problem solving skills;
• Good knowledge of risk management principles;

What you will do:

• Contribute to the software architectural design;
• Perform the following software development lifecycle phases: design, development, and verification;
• Ensure the refinement of the components requirements;
• Assemble the software components in a logical and controlled manner to evaluate the design, behavior, interactions and performance, and to confirm that the requirements against which the software components have been designed are fulfilled;
• Perform automated development, design verification environment and tool sets, ensure configuration management (DOORS), programming languages like ADA/Java/C/C++/Bash Shell;
• Actively participate in the configuration item integration and verification phases;
• Contribute to the production of the software data package from release to solution;
• Ensure Configuration Management of the software components;
• Contribute to Change Management of the software solution;
• Maintain software development and processes related documentation.
