Budget Specialist

Your day to day: E2E Budget (Capex & Opex) Management for GDC, from Customers’ demands capture through Planning Consolidation and Submission to Finance up to Purchase Order processing, budget status tracking and reporting. Continuous, proactive support for Design and Delivery including regular reports and consulting. Support for Project Management Office and Project / Release Managers in all project budget related issues. With these activities, you will have a great impact on our business:

• Customers (e.g. Group Functions, Local Markets, Internal GDC) Capex and Opex demands capture and assessment against strategic drivers and financial targets; consolidation and socialisation with Customers and GDC Management team
• Submission of Budget Plans and Forecasts to Finance at regular financial cycles (i.e, DB, 2+10, 5+7, 9+3)
• Tracking and Maintenance of investments progress and related financial positions (targets, approved, commitments, actuals) vs. month end, quarter end, year end
• Creation and approval tracking of the Purchase Requests and Orders; filing of RFQs, offers, purchase orders, delivery notes and time sheets
• Support for project management office and project managers in all project orders related issues

• Experienced in finance and budgeting
• Skilled with SAP applications
• Fluency in English
• Soft skills related to problem solving and ability to work in an agile way in a fast paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal with customers and employees
• In-depth knowledge of IT and data centre goods to be purchased and process standards
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 package (above all Excel and Powerpoint)
